EURUOXR OPEN POSITION I CHIEF EXECUTIVE (CEO)

EuroXR is pleased to announce the opening of applications for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position within the association.

This is a full-time role designed for a motivated and ambitious professional with a strong background in Extended Reality (XR) technologies, eager to grow into leadership responsibilities. The CEO will oversee the daily operations of the association, ensure financial sustainability, and actively contribute to European collaborative projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent EuroXR in European collaborative projects and support the delivery of related tasks and work packages.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the association, including events and strategic initiatives.

  • Manage budgeting and cash flow in cooperation with the Treasurer and accountant.

  • Collaborate with members, partners, and the Communication Manager to enhance EuroXR’s visibility and impact.

  • Report regularly to the Management Body and implement its strategic guidance.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking candidates with:

  • A Master’s degree (or higher) in XR technologies or related fields.

  • Strong technical expertise in XR, combined with communication and organizational skills.

  • Motivation to work in an international, multicultural, and non-profit environment.

  • Proven autonomy, willingness to travel in Europe, and enthusiasm to grow into a leadership role.

The position provides a unique opportunity to transition from a strong technical background into a leadership role within an international association. The CEO will benefit from the support of an accountant, a communication manager, and guidance from EuroXR’s Management Body. A performance-based bonus system will be in place to recognize strong achievements.
