Alliance4XR Hosts a Series of Workshops and Demonstrations to Shape the Future of XR in Education
The Alliance4XR project continues to bring together educators, students, and industry professionals across Europe to explore the transformative potential of eXtended Reality (XR) in education. Over the past months, a series of workshops and demonstration events have showcased the project’s platform, fostered hands-on learning, and encouraged collaboration between partners and participants.
Co-Designing the Future of Educational Tools in XR – Valencia, 27 October 2025
The first workshop, hosted at Florida Universitaria, targeted students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Game Design and Development and Interactive Experiences. The day began with a welcome session and an introduction to the Alliance4XR project, followed by a presentation of the educational gaps and methodology that the platform addresses.
Students then explored the platform in hands-on sessions, creating XR elements, testing functionalities, and experimenting with innovative uses. The event concluded with group presentations, feedback rounds, and reflections, providing valuable insights into the platform’s usability and potential improvements.

eXtended Reality in VET – Espinho, 5 November 2025
The Espinho Professional School hosted a dedicated session on integrating XR into Vocational Education and Training (VET). Teachers, trainees, and partner enterprises engaged with the Alliance4XR platform through presentations, interactive simulations, and hands-on demonstrations.
The event provided a space for sharing experiences, testing XR devices, and discussing ways to enhance curricula and educational materials using immersive technologies. Participants were able to explore XR applications directly and contribute ideas for improving the platform.

XR Horizons: Building Skills for Tomorrow – University College, 2 December 2025
The final Alliance4XR Demo Workshop brought together educators, researchers, and industry partners to explore the latest version of the learning platform. Attendees participated in live demonstrations, use case presentations, and discussions on innovative immersive technologies.
The event highlighted XR applications across multiple sectors, including marine and maritime education, structural engineering, and 3D photogrammetry, showcasing the platform’s potential to enhance technical skill development in VET and higher education.
