EuroXR is pleased to announce its participation in XR Salento 2025, an international conference dedicated to the latest developments in Extended Reality (XR), taking place in the beautiful town of Otranto, Italy. Hosted by the University of Salento, a valued EuroXR member, this in-person event provides a vibrant space for scientists, educators, industry professionals, and innovators to exchange insights and explore advances across AR, VR, MR, and immersive AI technologies.
The program features keynote talks, plenary sessions, paper presentations, a dedicated exhibition area, and a spotlight on major European XR projects. This year, EuroXR will proudly represent two of its flagship initiatives at its booth:
👉 Alliance4XR – accelerating XR integration in education and industry through a cutting-edge, accessible online platform.

At XR Salento 2025, EuroXR will take a leading role in the event program:
🎤 Patrick Bourdot, President of EuroXR, will open the ceremony and deliver a keynote titled:
"Immersive Collaboration: An Overview of Key Research Issues in XR Technologies and Use Cases"
This keynote will explore critical topics such as co-located user immersion, immersive analytics, and spatial consistency in XR environments.
🎤 Marco Sacco, Vice-President of EuroXR, will deliver the closing remarks of the conference.
